Fall Apple Flatbread

Ingredients
4 pre-made flatbreads
8 oz sharp cheddar cheeseshredded
1 SweeTango Applethinly sliced
1 small yellow onionthinly sliced
⅓ cup crumbled goat cheese
¼ cup walnutschopped
Drizzle of hot honey
Fresh thymefor garnish

Start by caramelizing your onions. To do so, thinly slice onions and add them to a pan with a large drizzle of olive oil on medium-low heat. Cover with a lid, and stir every few minutes until the onions are soft and browned, about 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400ºF.

Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet and top with shredded cheddar cheese, thinly sliced SweeTango Apples, caramelized onions, and chopped walnuts. Bake on 400ºF for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melty and the flatbread is crispy.

Top with crumbled goat cheese, a drizzle of hot honey, and fresh thyme leaves.
