With sugar levels (brix) between 15 and 18, Fuji apples rank among the sweetest you can find. Their sweet undertones and complex flavor have made them a parent to many popular new varieties, including the fan-favorite EverCrisp®, developed through natural cross-pollination.
Originating from Fujisaki, Japan, the Fuji apple is a cross between Ralls Janet and Red Delicious. For best quality, Fuji apples should be stored in refrigeration to preserve their lasting sweetness. Today, Fuji remains one of the leading apple varieties in the U.S.
