Cripps Pink/Pink Lady®
A Sassy + Sweet Apple.
Firm and dense with a tart flavor and fluorescent finish, an apple that’s easy to look at and snack on!
Description
Very firm and dense, with a tart flavor and a floral finish, this apple has one of the longest growing seasons—requiring 200 days from bloom to maturity. Also known as “Cripps Pink,” it was developed by Australian plant breeder John Cripps through crossing Golden Delicious and Lady Williams varieties. Cripps Pink earned its name from its distinctive reddish-pink skin and is famously marketed under the trademark Pink Lady®.
